In today’s digital age, emerging technologies have brought services online, and this has been amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, not everyone benefits equally or experiences the online world and new technologies in the same way, especially those with disabilities. As we become more digital, how do we make sure that we’re fostering an accessibility-first mindset from the start, when it comes to people with disabilities?
As part of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, join top national and international experts to better understand what accessibility means in the digital age and how you can integrate an accessibility first mindset into your work. Learn why this is not a technological issue, but rather a policy, social, economic, legal, cultural and human rights issue that all public servants need to understand.
