Monthly Makers Making Change Information Session

Join us for our Makers Making Change Monthly  Information Session! Our regional coordinators will introduce our Makers Making Change project and provide attendees with everything they need to know to be a part of this exciting project. This is a great opportunity to ask questions or to figure out how you want to get involved – whether it be to receive devices, volunteer to build, or whatever you think you can contribute! This month Suzanne from our Manitoba office will talk about all things MMC!

Makers Making Change is a project that connects people who could benefit from assistive devices with volunteer makers. Makers Making Change (MMC) is an innovative community-based initiative that connects makers to people with disabilities to create affordable open source assistive technologies. Makers Making Change utilizes emerging technology such as Arduino microcontrollers, 3D printing and laser cutting. The project integrates the culture and communities that surround the open source movement, the maker movement and the crowdsourcing movement.
