Hey all! I’m looking for recommendations for what type of acrylic to use/order to laser cut keyguards. Links are appreciated. Thanks!
Matt,
If you go to this page at Keyguard AT, there’s a pull-down labeled “Material”. I don’t know if it’s specific enough for you but it might give you a place to start.

Thanks,

Acrylic is also available in two varieties: cast, and extruded. Of the two, extruded tends to be less expensive and cut better (i.e. leaves a cleaner edge). In terms of thickness, we’ve used both 1/4″ and 1/8″ acrylic, though 1/8″ is usually more popular since it’s lighter.
You can order it online, but you’ll probably get a better price if you find a local plastic supplier.
