The braille slate and stylus allow a user to add braille to paper without the use of a traditional Perkins Brailler. Additionally, the files for both a two and four line slate is included. The stylus has a long thin end which creates the braille dots. On the other end of the stylus is a braille eraser. The set is great for an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper.

The bottom half of the slate is placed underneath and paper, and the top half is placed on top, aligned with the pegs on the bottom. Next, use the pointed end of the stylus to make indentations on the paper and use the back end to erase any mistakes.
