This 3d printable mounting adapter enables a LipSync 2 to be mounted using commercially available B-Size RAM® mounting systems. The adapter has an external 1/2 inch NPT thread on one side and a 1″ ball on the other. The 1″ ball is compatible with B-Sized RAM® mounts. This adapter can also be used to mount to other devices with a 1/2″ NPT internal thread, such as PVC adapters.

We’ve updated the design of this adapter.

A shoulder portion was added to prevent the adapter from threading in too far. (This could cause the LipSync housing to crack due to the tapered threads.) We also added a hex portion to make it easier to install and remove. A 24 mm wrench, crescent wrench, or slip-joint pliers can be used to help grip the mounting adapter now.
