I’m a tetraplegic. I have no hand or finger function at all. I would love to figure out a safe method to light candles! I miss being able to light them in the evening when I am by myself.

Definitely need to be conscious of safety here in selecting a suitable option.

There was a similar request for someone who was looking to light candles as part of a Bar Mitzvah celebration (

    1. Switch adapt a battery powered LED candle. (i.e. a battery powered light that has a similar flicker)
    2. Switch adapt a remote control candle (e.g.,, $99 USD, US Only, a real flame that can be lit and extinguished via wireless remote)
    3.  Switch adapt an electric lighter (and determine a a way to safely extinguish independently).
