A member of the ATMaker Facebook group is looking for some help to improve upon an existing design for a switch adapted cup pourer:

“Looking for help on ways to modify and update this DIY switch adapted pouring cup. Was told by someone who tried it that the motor is too weak. Would love my students with complex bodies to be able to participate in cooking and art activities at home right now.
Any ideas to make this better and still inexpensive is greatly appreciated. A video for parents and therapists on how to build it would also be great”

The current design is posted on Instructables:
    https://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Switch-Activated-Pouring-Measuring-Cup-In/ 16, ~$30

    Hello,

I run engineering design projects at the University of Ottawa where we focus on accessibility projects. The projects would run over a semester (Sep-Nov, Jan-Mar, May-Jul) and I think we can help with this! If you are interested I’d love to meet and explain our program, please message back here or send me an email at [email protected].

    Thanks,

    Justine
