    Switch Adapted Beat Bowwow

     

     

    The Fisher-Price Beat Bowwow is a colourful singing toy that can be switch adapted for children with disabilities to play with.

    This modification, created by the SWITCHED Adapted Toys, allows a single switch input to trigger the toy to sing and dance.

    Tools you’ll need:

    • Philips head screwdriver
    • Soldering iron with solder
    • Rosin pen (optional)
    • Drill with 5/32 drill bit
    • 3.5mm stereo jack
    • Wire strippers
    • Zip tie
    • Tweezers

    SWITCHED Adapted Toys 1 is an organization based in Columbia, Missouri that provides equal access to play through adapted toys. They have easy to follow instructions for adding 3.5mm switch inputs to numerous toys that can be purchased at the common toy store.
