We are considering designing an umbrella holder for users who can walk but only have one fully functioning arm.
Ideally, this would allow people to use their arm while walking, for purposes other than holding an umbrella- checking their phone, brushing hair out of the eyes, drinking a coffee.. .
Think of a little clip onto a backpack that holds the umbrella.
Would there be any interest in this? What sort of considerations would potential users have?
I am a technology teacher at a Christian-based afterschool program. This summer, I am working with Jr. High students. I can have them work on ideas for this. Are there any details that are set in stone, or is the design still up in the air?
