Hi! I use a wheelchair full time and also do the laundry for my household. I can’t quite reach the knob on my washing machine and would love to have a device that would extend my reach to slip over top of the dial to let me turn it.
I use a toy claw to reach stuff from inside my washer and dryer, but the “jaws” of the end of the claw aren’t strong enough and can’t quite get a tight enough grip to turn the dial counter clockwise. The round dial has a smooth, almost oval grasping part and is very stiff to turn.
Hello.
I am working with a group of students on campus who would love to help.
