Cup holder for walker
Setup & instructions
This is a cup holder for a collapsible/foldable walker. It is designed to fit various insulated tumblers as shown. The holder can be 3D printed in a variety of materials such as PETG or PLA. The holder is designed for a walker with 29 mm diameter tubing and an insulated cup with an outer diameter of about 78 mm. (e.g. Yeti 30 oz Tumbler or RTIC 30 oz tumbler).
Once the holder is attached and clamped to the walker, the insulated cup can be placed in from the top.
Bill of Materials
- 3D Printed Walker Cup Holder (~ 10 hour print; 140 g; ~$3.50 material)
- 2X Machine screws (M5 x 25 mm or #8 x 1 in.)
- 2X Nuts (Preferably lock nuts; M5 or #8)
- 4X Washers (M5 or #8)
The Walker Cup Holder is designed to print with the top surface oriented down on the print bed. The original was printed in PETG, but PLA should work as well. Typical print setting are 0.2 mm layer height, 15% hex infill, and 2 shells. Note that this is a fairly long print (~10 hours).
Smooth any rough or sharp edges on the print. To attach the holder to the walker, pull open the holder and push it onto the tube. Then, use the machine screws, washers, and nuts to clamp it into place.
