Overview

The remote control switch adapted car can be controlled with two switches. One controls the forward movement and the other controls the turns. These build instructions can be used on almost any remote control car that has two buttons.

Usage

Plug the switches into the remote control and position the remote in range of the car. Press the switches to control the car’s turns and forward movements.

2 x Mono jacks (something like this cut in half: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08CXNHXZQ)

2 x Zip ties

Tools

  • Wire strippers
  • Flush cutters
  • Drill and 5/32″ drill bit
  • Soldering iron
  • Solder

Assembly

You can assemble the car by removing the back of the toy, adding the mono jacks and soldering them in place, and reassembling the toy. Reference the video tutorial for full instructions.
